Microsoft's Fluent Design System goes cross platform with iOS, Android, and the web

Microsoft has published a brand new Fluent Design System website today that expands its design linguistic communication across not only Windows, but iOS, Android, and the spider web. This is key to Microsoft'south goal of bringing its new blueprint language to all its products and services, including apps on non-Windows platforms.

If you're a developer building an iOS, Android, or Progressive Web App, you can now utilize Fluent Design complete with drop shadows, mistiness effects, and more. The new Fluent Design website describes the design language equally follows:

Fluent brings the fundamentals of principled design, innovation in technology, and client needs together as one. It's a collective approach to creating simplicity and coherence through a shared, open up design organisation beyond platforms. People move and shift across devices and platforms throughout their day. From laptops to phones, from PCs to holograms. From office to living room, from real to virtual. Experiences seamlessly move and shift with them.
